What spa size is suitable for a Covana cover?
Covana covers are designed to fit most spas without protruding headrests. We highly recommend that you take precise measurements of your spa if you do not know its dimensions or if they are close to the minimum or maximum compatible sizes.
Oasis: Most square or rectangular spas whose dimensions meet these specifications:
- Flat surface at least 2.5 cm (1 in) wide on top of spa
- Maximum length: 249 cm (98 in)
- Maximum width: 234 cm (92 in)
- Minimum height: 86 cm (34 in) / Maximum height: 122 cm (48 in)
Evolution: Most square, rectangular or round spas whose dimensions meet these specifications:
- Flat surface at least 2.5 cm (1 in) wide on top of spa
- Maximum length: 342 cm (135 in)
- Maximum width: 236 cm (92 in)
- Minimum height: 86 cm (34 in) / Maximum height: 122 cm (48 in)
Legend: Most rectangular swim spas whose dimensions meet these specifications:

Does the Covana cover seal the spa?
The Covana cover replaces a traditional cover and seals the spa to limit water and chemical evaporation. The cover seals in heat and keeps out cold, which can reduce spa heating costs by up to 30%. Covana Legend and Evolution covers use structural insulated panels (SIPs) with a thermal resistance higher than R-15, the best in the industry.
Is the Covana cover designed to operate in winter?
Yes. Because the sealing bead is fitted to each column, the unit can operate all year round. Light annual maintenance is needed before the cold season to ensure that lubrication is sufficient to cope with the rigours of winter.
How much weight can the cover hold?
The Oasis and Evolution can support 90 kg and the Legend can handle 68 kg that’s evenly distributed. Dirt, debris, leaves and snow should always be removed from the cover before use.
Are Covana covers certified?
Yes. The covers are UL certified in Canada and the United States, CE certified in Europe and meet all requirements of ASTM F1346-91, the performance standard for spas and spa covers.
Can the Evolution and Oasis covers be opened or closed manually?
Yes. Please consult the “Manual Operation of the Cover” section of the owner’s manual in the event of a power outage, for example.
